Over the last 3 years, our team has travelled to the rural village of Rangala, Kenya, with World Youth International to support the Babies' home.

When we first travelled to Rangala, many of the babies were severely malnourished and on the brink of death. Jane, one of the babies in Rangala, weighed a mere 2.5kg at 11 months of age, which is less than the weight of an average new born. With extensive care on the formula feeding program, Jane more than tripled her weight in only 5 months. The formula feeding program has given many other children like Jane adequate nutrition and a fighting chance at life.

This is one example of how we can help. Our mission is to continue to implement the formula feeding program and provide the babies in Rangala Babies' Home this basic human right they deserve. We hope to raise $15,000 (AUD) each year. Additionally, we each self fund our travel to Rangala, Kenya, annually to provide hands on support and training and continue to monitor this program to ensure its success.

This December Asha Brazier and Nicole Murray are returning to Rangala to continue working towards this worthwhile and essential cause. For more information, please contact info@buildinginafrica.com.
